Which makes a better milsim paintball marker, ATS or Rap4?

I have a spyder speedball marker that i have used and found to be good enough for my limited use of it, but recently my military buddies (I am active duty) decided to start playing a lot more milsim/recball games and my marker doesn't really have the accuracy at range for anything much larger than a speedball course, as frankly it is getting kinda old and was a speedball marker by design.

I am trying to get a milsim marker that will be both reliable and affordable, although ultimately performance is a big deal as that is the real problem with my current marker. ATS and Rap4 both seem to make products with a fairly large following and seem pretty good, although ATS is a lot more expensive.

Anyone got any thoughts on which is a better marker, and perhaps thoughts on which is more worth the price? The military does not pay that well!

Rap4 markers are decent for milsim but dont really have high reviews. ATS markers are also very good but cost way too much.

The Tippmann X-7 seems to me to be the king of customizable milsim markers. It comes stock with one milsim look and can be customized to fit many other looks. You will probably want the E-grip or Response version as they have higher ratings. Tippmann 98 Customs and A-5s are also great for milsim if you buy a body styling kit, but it's sometimes cheaper to buy an X-7 than to buy a 98C or A-5 with a body kit (used on eBay is the best for customized 98Cs or A-5s)

Lastly I want to suggest to you another milsim brand of paintball markers: Tiberius Arms. They make only milsim/scenario/woodsball markers and their Tac-8 pistol is one of the best paintball pistols out there. Tiberius Arms markers are less expensive than ATS but more than Tippmanns. Good luck choosing.
