Could you describe for me what you think the average Western Sydney sports fan is like?
Given there is an AFL team about to start up there what do you think the area is actually like?
I reckon the average Western Sydney sports fan knows the AFL reasonably well and already favours one particular team probably the Swans.
They would be curious to watch an AFL game live but probably haven't bothered going to a swans game.
The average fan would go to a game with Western Sydney playing at the top level as they are a team representing their own area and not been dragged up from Melbourne.
Western Sydney is a huge population area and to stereotype ALL of it as one eyed rugby bogans is plain ignorant.
Average sport fans are well average and appreciate most sports and would take an interest in a local team.
