Basketball: Basic Shooting Tips

In basketball, a player in the proper shooting position is ready to jump and deliver the shot in a smooth motion. While it is possible to score with less precise methods, in a sport where a top professional player will shoot with an approximate 50% success from the field, mechanics and adherence to proper form will separate successful athletes from mediocrity.
