Seattle Iron
I'm going to an iron maiden concert...?

What should I expect. I don't listen to this band but it's a free ticket and trip to seattle.
How should I react at this concert I dont want to be a prude
and should i dress like i normally do?

Congratulations, you will see one of the best metal bands live.

If you are worried about what you're going to wear, then don't be. Find yourself an Iron Maiden t shirt and pair it up with some skinny jeans and sneakers. Don't over accessorize, since its not a fashion show. You'll always find girls wearing sexy outfits, kinda goth, but they stand out for looking trashy. Just be you and be comfy. If you want to blend in then t shirt, jeans, cool sneakers and you're good to go.

React the way you want to react. Everybody around you will be focused on the show. And there's lot of headbangers and drunks enjoying the music. Don't worry abut mosh pits because Ive never seen a mosh pit at a Maiden show, its not mosh pit music. And if you get a little bored and tired, please, don't annoy the person you'll be with. (I'm telling you this because once I brought a friend to one concert and she was bored out of her mind because she didn't like the band. The only rock she listened to was mainstream rock. She just kept telling me all night that she was bored and that she wanted to get out of there; she just annoyed me and ruined the night with her selfishness. And the thing is, I was the one that paid for her ticket! What a bit#@$ch)

Maiden is not for everybody. I agree with the fact that you should familiarize with their music before seeing them live. Try listening to the songs that they almost ALWAYS play live, like Number of the Beast, The Trooper, Fear of the Dark and Hallowed be thy Name. The concert you'll see is going to have new songs since they are releasing a new album soon. Is Dream Theater going to be there too? If so, you are a lucky girl. 2 good bands in one night! Make memories and have fun.
