83 powell peralta tony hawk board?
ive got one of them. its in rough shape as it was used, but it is still in good enough condition to where you can see all the graphics and print on the bottom side of the board. the graphic on the top side is unrecognizable unless you have seen it on other boards before. it is complete with early cross bone wheels and tracer trucks. it still is rideable and functions great. now, i know around what its worth but my question is on this kind of collectable, is it better to get it restored or just keep it in the condition it is in? does restoring a peice like this decrease the value of the board?
ive been offered 250 and up to 400 dollars for the board as is by skate shops, and that was around 10 years ago. i would love to see it restored but im afraid by doing so the value may actually decrease on this kind of collectable if i were to get it restored.
does anybody know?
To restore it would damage the value, take it to an auction house for a true valuation,.
