Will anybody break Michael Jordan's record? (Points in Play off)?
He scored 63 points against the 1985-1986 Boston Celtics which featured Hall of famers such as Larry Bird, Kevin Mchale, Robert Parish and Bill Walton not to mention Jordan faced 1 of the best perimeter defender of all time Dennis Johnson.
As the result on Jordan's performance, Larry Bird said "God disguised as Michael Jordan"
Back to my Q will anybody break the record? who has the highest chance to break it and why?
BQ: Why did Bird say that? He was a veteran compared to a young Jordan so don't bring up "Seniority respect" excuse. It's not like Bird was praising MJ because MJ has been in the league longer than Bird, so why did he say that?
Maybe one day, but it will be a while. Records are ment to be broken though.
BQ: Bottomline, he was amazed by Jordan's performance. When a man drops 63 on you, no matter if your a veteran, you have to give him his props. Its only right. I would have said the same thing too. He was humble and showed respect for a great performance.
