Tom did some of his own stunts. The dvd contains extra footage of how the rock climbing scene was filmed. Tom is mostly attacked to a cable but if it snapped he would have died there was nothing below him.
The "Mission Incredible" stunts featurette is a five-minute quick overview of the incredible stunts in the movie. It pays tribute to Tom Cruise's mountain climbing scene in the opening credit sequence and the final fight sequence. The 34-minute "Impossible Shots" featurette shows in detail how 11 stunts were produced, from choreography to the special equipment used in making and filming these stunt sequences. For action fans, this is quite a treat.
