What are all the things dan did on one tree hill?
i havent watched one tree hill from beginning to end and am a bit confused. i know nathan and lucus are half brothers with the same dad "dan" and different moms. but why is he such a bad guy. everyone of the characters seems to hate him. what did he do?
Lucas & Karen hate him because he abandoned them.
Nathan hates him because he is controlling.
Haley hates him because he was never nice to her and because of how he treated Nathan.
Deb hates him because he was controlling and just a mean guy.
He would do alot of little things to better his own life, he blackmailed the old mayor into quitting.
Lucas knew a secret about him so he choked him until he almost died, and hit Peyton when she tried to stop him.
He killed Keith, his brother (Karen's love//the guy that was practically Lucas's father) and kept it a secret for like a year.
He went on this huge search for clues about who tried to kill him, because he was always such a jerk, and he thought it was Keith so he had him arrested. I think he hit Deb before.
He hated Keith because he was jealous of him by the way.
After Keith died he accidentally lit his grave on fire too because he was crying and drinking and went to light a cigarette and the light falls on spilt booze.
Deb was an addict and he never got her help he just blackmailed her and basically left her to kill herself in one episode.
Basically he was just a hugeeee jerk.
