Why did Dan Issel get admitted into the Basketball Hall of Fame and other former ABA players did not?
Other ABA players like Mel Daniels, Artis Gilmore, Spencer Haywood and George McGinnis have been screwed over, all with ABA Championship rings, yet over-rated ABA players like Dan Issel, Connie Hawkins and David Thompson get admitted. I don't think it's fair?
It's not neccessarily always fair, but that's just how the voters decide it a lot. It's a hard truth in all sports.
