How to get rid of stubborn belly fat?
I am a healthy 22 year old female. I am 5'5" and 143lbs, I do cardio and weight training 5 days a week. However, I cannot get rid of my midsection! I should be able to feel comfortable in a 2 piece swimsuit, but I feel like I have the stomach of a 200 lb person. I just dont think that my stomach is proportional to the rest of my body. I can feel strong muscles, but I have a layer of flab over them that just won't go away! What should I do?
American Eagle was right on in her response. Eating is going to be the key to your success. You really want to pay closer attention to what you eat and how often. Eating every 3 hours or so will speed up your metabolism. Choosing foods that are lower in sugar will also help. i'm not quite sure you need to go so far as the saran wrap idea though! Just dont get discouraged and you will be fine. One other idea is variety. When doing your ab exercises, try to mix it up with some different exercise. If you always do crunches on the floor, try them on a resistance ball for instance. Variety yields quicker results because your body has to adapt to the change.
