Can I alter a 36 inch waist jean down to 32?
I have a pair of Lucky brand jeans with 36 inch waist, and I'm now about 30 or 31.(I'm a guy) Basically, everything is now baggy, can I get them tailored skinnier everywhere? Or is it more cost effective to just buy a new pair? Is it going to look weird after it's tailored?
Most of the time it is hard for even women to get the best fit for jeans. I know that guys like room, but if you really love the jeans (and Lucky's really last) I would suggest in getting them tailored.
The tailor will take in the sides and you can tell him much room you want in your legs. When you get anything custom fit to you the results are usually better than buying something "off the rack", because everyone's body is proportioned differently.
It might sound weird, but I think of clothes as an investment. So when you lose weight and you need it taken in - it is like taking a car in for an oil change...it's maintenance
