Can you dye spandex/swimwear fabric?
I want to buy white swimwear fabric and dye it so its a custom color for my mermaid tails, but im not shure if the fabric will hold the colored dye?
BTW, the colors I want 2 dye the fabric are blues and pinks, also its going 2 have fringe on the end where the end of the tail is so its hanging off.

Not easily. Spandex/lycra is a fiber that's very heat sensitive, and most dyes require heat setting. But you could use some of the thin-bodied fabric paints that do not require heat setting. Be sure to try some test samples before committing to the entire project.
