Can you sew/iron a patch onto a pair of Nike Dunks?

The picture above is photoshopped so I wanted to know if it is possible before I start gathering supplies.
About the only thing that will work is E6000. This is a glue you can find with craft supplies.
Sewing will make holes in the shoes and an iron will melt the components of the shoe (fabric, rubber, plastic).
