Dry skin plus major acne breakout, help?
Usually during the winter my skin gets dry and my acne goes away for the most part, but this winter it's been different, unfortunately. My skin is very dry, and I'm also getting major acne breakouts. I've been using an exfoliant as well as a very good moisturizer, but it's not helping at all. The exfoliant makes my skin even drier and the moisturizer causes more breakouts. Any natural remedies or helpful advice? I can't really afford to buy more products. Thanks in advance.
And yes i'm using a moisturizer specificly for the face. It's from proactiv.
my brother is suffering from acne and he went to the skin doctor and he is now on this medicine that makes ur skin very dry and the acne goes way. The doctor told him that dry is better than oily. it helps the acne. i get a few pimples there and then and I wash my face with cleanser, then take a blowdryer and put it were the acne is, and then a take a small needle, make a small hole in the center of the pimple, and then pot it. Then i rub rubbing acholhal on it so it wouldnt get infected. this method works very well. Hope ur acne goes away an merry christmas:)
