How deep should the cat poop box be?
I find that with two cats, I put the poop box deep with gravel. But when I go to scoop it out, the poops, the dust comes into my nose and I cough half the night. This is unsafe, i know. What should I do?
I think it is more the kind of litter you're using rather than the depth. Try using a dust-free version or a virtually dust-free version like tidy cats which is over 99% dust free. If you are breathing it in just scooping it out, your cats are too and it's definitely not healthy for anyone.
