Is blue buffalo a good brand cat food/dog food?
I tried blue science diet a few years back on my old cat and he didn't like it very much. However I have a new female cat who is a year old and a 9year old female Chihuahua. I was thinking of switching them both to buffalo blue because I will be starting school soon and will have extra money. I am in college so I am not rich lol but I will be able to afford 20-30$ for a bag of food. So my question is, will it be worth the money? I know many people say blue science is over priced crappy but what about buffalo blue? Are there other maybe cheaper brands? Thanks
Yes, Blue Buffalo is a good brand of pet food. I had my Labrador on Blue for a couple years, but then decided to switch to Orijen, which has made a huge improvement in his coat, teeth, energy level, and he has lost some of his extra weight.
Blue is quite cheap for a quality pet food, and they are right when they say that Science Diet is over priced and low quality.
I also recommend Acana, Taste of the Wild, and Innova. I would recommend Orijen, but that's about $60 for a 30 lb. bag, which is probably out of your budget.
