What to wear in Europe as a Tourist in Summer?
I am going to Belgium, Deutschland, and England. My typical attire is Basketball Shorts, Khaki Shorts, Nike/Puma/Adidas T-Shirts, and Puma/Nike Shoes. I really do not want to look like an obvious American Tourist. Any Tips? I will bring one pair of Pants, but since it is Summer it will be hot.
Also are Oakley Sunglasses common?
haha you're such a tourist! no offense!
let me help you
you dont wanna be an obvious target for pick pockets, blending in is the key, no logos,
bring a nice jacket when you eat out, i dont know about Germany, you dont need the jacket in casual places but its necessary when you eat out. Dont wear alot of brand clothing and DONT WEAR SHORTS. Euro city folk just never wear shorts, puma shoes are ok but no nike shoes or flip flops. you're not planning on running in Europe. if you're bringing a fancy slr camera keep it in the backpack thats an obvious sign that you're a tourist unless its a small cam you can keep in your pocket.
in europe you have to look your best no matter what youre doing.
oh and don't be loud, americans tourists have a bad rep. be polite, try to learn the language, and did i mention to not be loud? look at pictures of the places youre going and find clothing similar to that, also its quite fun to pick out the tourists from those pics.
Good luck hope you have lots of fun!
