Where can I buy a safety razor in Columbia, Maryland?
Not the blades, but the actual razor itself. And not the 2/3/4/5 blade disposable razor kind, but the single blade safety razor. I've seen the blades for sale at every drug store, but never the actual razor.
I know I can get one online, but was hoping that somewhere in the metropolitan axis between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore that there would be at least one shop somewhere that would actually sell this. Yahoo-local and Google Maps are less than useless.
The razor is very difficult to find. I saw one about a year ago at a high end barber shop in Sugarland, Texas. So I would suggest that you check barber shops that also sell products. If they don't have one, most likely they can refer you to a source for one if there is a place to get it in Columbia. Check here.
